Honestly, costa rica is a tourist trap. Think "hawaii meets central america." This place is beautiful: rain forest meets beach meets volcano. Tons of fun/humid/lush excursions/activities. My only complaint is the comida tipico is well... TYPICAL. However! While in arenal, my travelling partna/sister came across the most scrumptious black beans of ALL TIME. If I could eat a bowl full of these black beans I would. You might be thinking, they're just beans! I tell you, these are no ordinary frijoles! They r magical! *dreamy*
The simplest things make me so happy. Mmm frijoles. Si, por favor!
